I CARE: We are talking to Doris in Salzburg, where there is a demonstration going on
Hello Doris, what is happening?

Doris: There is a demonstration on the big president square in Salzburg against the new 
Austrian government. There are five to ten thousand people out here. It’s raining and really 
cold, but still a lot of people came.

I CARE: Until now we only reported from Vienna, but there are also demonstrations in the 
whole country, is that right?

Doris: Yes, there are demo’s in Salzburg, Insbruck, Gratz, Linz, and all over the place.

I CARE: Is this the last demo you are going to do, or is there more? 

Doris: No, we just started with it and the protest will be going on.

I CARE: When are you going to do the next demo?

Doris: Well, it is not quite sure but we have already decided that we will try next week to go 
to the demo in Vienna. There will be  another demo on the international women’s day (8th of 
march) by all Austrian women associations.

I CARE: We will see you in Vienna next week.

Doris: Yes, all the Austrians will come to Vienna

I CARE: And also people coming from all around Europe.


I CARE: Nous nous entretenons avec Doris, de Salzbug, ou se deroule en ce moment une 
manifestation. Bonjour Doris. Que se passe-t’il exactement?

Doris: En ce moment se deroule une manifestation tres importante contre le nouveau 
gouvernement autrichien. Il y a environs entre 5000 et 10000 personnes ici. Il fait froid et il 
pleut mais les gens sont quand meme venus.

I CARE: Nous n’avons fait de reportages qu’a partir de Vienne jusqu’a present, mais tout le 
pays se mobilise n’est-ce-pas?

Doris: Oui, il y a des manifestations a Salzburg, Insbruk, Gratz, Linz, et dans tout le pays.

I CARE: Est-ce la derniere manifestation que vous comptez faire?

Doris: Non, nous venons a  peine de commencer, nous comptons continuer les mouvements 
de protestation.

I CARE: Quand aura lieu la prochaine manifestation?

Doris: Ce n’est pas encore decide. Mais nous avons decide par contre d’aller a la 
manifestation qui se deroulera a Vienne la semaine prochaine. Il y aura une autre 
manifestation qui se deroulera pendant la journee international de la femme  et qui sera 
organisee par les associations de defence des femmes.

I CARE: Nous nous verrons a Vienne la semaine prochaine.

Doris: Oui, toute l’autriche va se trouver a Vienne le 19.

I CARE: Ainsi que des representants des pays d’Europe.
