Ratification CERD: yes in 1969, Bulgaria has also agreed to individual petitions under Article 14.

Extracts from state reply to Durban Review questionnaire:
The Council of Ministers adopted various strategies and plans for equal integration of persons belonging to minorities. In September 2003, the National Assembly adopted the Law on Protection against Discrimination, amended in 2004 and 2006, which provides enhanced protection of all physical persons and juridical entities on the Bulgarian territory against all forms of discrimination and contributes to prevention of such incidences. The Commission for Protection against Discrimination was established in April 2005.
