20th of September passed the term of Belarussian president Aleksandr Lukashenko. Abusing his prerogatives he has strengthened his power every year. Parliament of the 13th term fell on of his victim. Members of Parliament opposing president were expelled with the use of militia brutal force. The opposition movement has been suppressed every year. People independent in their thinking and activities were replaced with persons obedient to dictator, cynics and careerists. All these things were done

in atmosphere of deception and terror with the use of dependant media. After 12 years of authoritarian rules president Lukashenko prolonged his term. It turned out to be possible because of destroying all democratic institutions. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of information, freedom of the press and free enterprise have been destroyed every day. People of democratic outlook and opposition activists are imprisoned, persecuted and sacked from thier works.Since the 25th of

April 2006 Aleksandr Kazulin - former candidate in presidential elections has stayed behind bars. Other democratic opposition activists: S.Skrabiec, M.Siewieryniec, M.Statkiewicz, M.Astrejka, C.Dranczuk, A.Fińkiewicz are also held in prisons. More than 130 persons went on hunger strike in protest against suppressing of democratic liberties. At present antinational regime is trying to terrorize people with the exapmles of prisoners of conscience. Our action of protest is going to atract attention

of the international community to the problems of Belarussians who are the last nation in Europe bearing yoke of dictatorship. Belarussians like other European democratic societies hunger after democracacy with its all liberties.
